A Weird Request [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-22-06, 12:22 PM My friend is going to start a short, broken level 20 campaign for giggles, and it's going to take place either in the Abyss or Baator (I expect a lot of Dretch and Imp comedy). While players are encouraged to play Demons or Devils (depending on where the game takes place), my DM told me he made the campaign so I could play an Avolakia (as I've been saying to him for the longest time that I think it's one of the coolest monsters ever). The Avolakia gets pretty boned by being starting ECL15 with 10 Hit Dice though.

So, my request is for those who know about Avolakia (MM2), despite how terrible this might end up, to help me find a PrC I can qualify for with just the Avolakia HD (I can choose whatever feats I want for them) that would be useable. I have access to pretty much every 3.5 sourcebook printed as of last month. We're probably using a variant LA buyoff, wherein you pay the XP for an LA cut every 5 HD (so things with high racial HD and LA's are encouraged, for instance most big demons and such). So my Level 20 one will have it's LA cut down to +2 with this.

07-23-06, 07:24 AM So you have 8 levels to play with eh? Might aswell get something from that nice racial charisma boost.

Warshaper 4/ Despot (Paladin Variant) 2/ Sorcerer 1/ Monk 1
Take Ascetic Mage and you have a nice boost to AC.

Well just an idea.
