| Neo_Leviathan08-19-06, 09:37 AM | Ok, I know I saw somewhere a spell that forces a shapechanger back into their normal form and makes them stay there. But I can't remember for the life of me what it was called or where it was. Dont suppose anyone can jog my memory? |
| Shaggy_Shaggs08-19-06, 09:59 AM | Countermoon (druid 3, savage species) is a bit more limited than what you're describing, but could that be it? |
| Maat_Mons08-19-06, 10:38 AM | Force Shapechange, from Oriental Adventures, does that. It’s a shame it wasn’t reprinted like most of the other spells from that book. |
| runestar08-19-06, 10:40 AM | Chain of binding fate from Waterdeep? :P |
| GDarius08-19-06, 10:45 AM | The Church Inquisitor prestige class from Complete Divine? At level 6, they get an at-will ability to force shapechangers into their original forms for 1d6 rounds. They can do this to any shapachanging ability, whether EX, SU, SP or an actual spell. |
| Lilt08-19-06, 02:19 PM | If you're dealing with a supernatural or spell-like shape-changer then you could simply use an antimagic field. If you want to use your own magical abilities at the same time then perhaps try an antimagic ray (Spell Compendium). |
| carnivore08-19-06, 02:38 PM | try this.......Ruby Ray of Reversal :D |
| Zentinel08-20-06, 09:47 AM | Force Shapechange (Truth domain) from Races of Eberon does 3d10 damage an forces a Shapeshifter to his true form for 1 round per level. |
