| Neo_Leviathan08-13-06, 01:40 PM | Ok, I'm playing a Master of Many Forms in a horror campaign, and I really need to boost up my will save. I'm 12th lvl and I've currently got a base save of *3* (I used the Wildshaping Ranger lead-in), +4 for my 18 Wisdom. I've still got one feat to spend, and I was hoping to find something for upping my will save. The feats I know of that are useable are: Iron Will Scorpion's Resolve Steadfast *something* (The PHBII one) Any ones that I've missed? |

Steadfast Determination, it requires Endurance as a pre-req, but allows you to apply your CON mod instead of your WIS mod to your Will save, if I'm remember correctly. So, depending on what your CON is, you can get a nice boost there. Edit: Actually, I think there's another one called Force of Personality that allows you to add your CHA modifier. Not sure where to find it though. |

| Slyver08-13-06, 02:35 PM | Steadfast Determination + war troll form (29 con) + warshaper 2 (+4 con) plus magic item of con (+x, say 4) = +13 con modifier. That's +9 over your current save. Not bad for one feat. I will assume you are a 5 ranger 7 MoMF. Take your next two levels as warshaper, then go back into MoMF. Steadfast determination is by far the best way for a melee oriented MoMF to get a good willsave, however; as a MoMF you can become immune to just about everything (perhaps everything) that you could ever need a will save for. So, its a tough call. Depends on how you want to play it. Slyver |

| ksbsnowowl08-13-06, 10:15 PM | There's also a feat in the PHBII that allows you to roll two d20's for your (will only?) saves. That could help in a round-about way. |
