| TinySilverChalice08-18-04, 11:43 PM | hello! I'm making a middle aged aasminar sorcerer necromancer. (IMC, we allow for socerers to "specialize" like wizards, calling them "talents".) Anyway, I'm in the market for an arcane necromancer, with perhaps some divine dip as long as rebuking/commanding undead isn't involved. Non-evil is a must. (Please no Nar Demonbinder. Why that class doesn't have alignment restrictions is beyond me and my DM.) My stats are: 18 18 16 16 14 12 Haven't decided where to accolocate aside from the obvious 18 into CHA for a 20. We play FR and I'm considering NG, N, or LN for alignment. (And I do know that a good aligned necromancer probably won't stay that way for long.) Thanks so much! Sorry if they're builds floating around that would work for me. I'd really love a link if someone knows one. But then again, "Sorry. The search function has been disabled by the administrator for the next 24 hours. -Wizards Boards admin Aug 16, 2004 4:50 pm PT" said the boards on August 18th. :( Thanks again! |

One thing you might consider is the Deathless, which are basically undead powered by positive energy instead of negative. That way your necromancer could be more focused toward good maybe, I haven't looked into controlling Deathless too much though but it might be good for you. Only problem is most of the deathless stuff is found in Book Of Exalted Deeds and Eberron campaign setting, so you'd probably need access to those books to do it. |
