Khazra Reborn 05-31-05, 08:18 AM	I just discovererd a fairly decent group of creatures for aberration wildshape in the form of kythons from BoVD. There are forms ranging from 2HD through to 18 which means you could gradullay go up through stages to add a bit of flavour to yor character. The 18HD slaughter king is an absolute monster with 28str,20con & 18 dex, plus 20 natural armour, a 4D6 bite & four 1D8 claw attacks!!! King of smack Build: elan druid12/natures warrior5/warshaper3 feats gatekeeper initiate (flavour reasons) improved natural attack (claw) abberation wildshape rapid strike improved natural attack (claw) improved natural attack (claw) improved rapid strike items item of +5NA (location changed*) Belt of magnicence+6 tome of str+4 ring of deflection+5 claws of the beast ring of mighty fists+5 (location changed*) amulet of wildshape *DM doesnt change cost special +4 str,+4con immune to criticicals/SA 6D6+1D6+2(claws of beast)+5(ring)+3(clwas of grizzly) =7D6+10damage claws (alot less then king of smack granted but i get 2 extra attacks to partially compensate) armour of the croc (+5NA) DR3/- reach 15 Loads of attacks! i sort of abandoned druid a bit because i cant use many of the animal effecting spells & focused on melee. This is aimed towards melee & should be rated accordingly. attributes= strength=28+10+4=42 con=20+6+4=30 dex=18+4=22 NA=30 Ac=52 (touch52, flat footed45 :D ) Edit>as per the rules of wildshape stacking can i chage into an animal, then slaughterking & get the benefits of animal growth etc?
JakeQuistis 05-31-05, 09:09 PM	The only problem that might come into this would be the Kython trait special quality. If you take it as meaning only with this trait the Kythons are eyeless, then yes, that could work. However, if you take it as meaning that they cannot see without this quality, then while in that form you would be blind.
Andarious 05-31-05, 09:30 PM	Blindsight the feat requires Wildshape and Listen 4 ranks. Lasts 1 minute per HD for a use of wild shape.
SemperMutatio 06-01-05, 09:32 AM	Or depending on the number of ranks you have in listen, you can use listening lorecall from Complete Adventurer to get either blindsense or blindsight if you don't want to use the feat.
Battousai 06-01-05, 10:08 AM	Do you also get access those special kython natural weapons grafts ? Each kind of kython could choose from a list. Sorry , I don't have my book at home , so I can't be more precise.
