I'm not sure it is the right thread for this but here I go.

I'm building a wizard caracter for a new adventure. I wish to try some kind of Dwarven Abjurer but if the feats requirement require it, human abjurer could be possible. Also, the DM allowed me the use of Unearthed arcana feats tweaks (meaning I can pick a negative feat to get one more)

Although the adventure starts at level 1, I plan to aim at the "Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil" prestige class from the Complete Arcane. Since that PC requires 12 ranks, my 10th level should be the Initiate one.

Now, I'm looking for a potential prestige class for levels 6 to 9 that would still fit the requirements of the Initiate.

Any ideas ?

Incantatrix (Player's Guide to Faerun) is mostly about being an abjurer, and is very good. Entry at level 6.

The PGTF version has almost nothing to do with abjuration whatsoever, and you would be better off going plain wiz with that build, loss of 3 schools is just too painful.

Combine Geometer (Complete Arcana, pg. 39) with IoSV.

But then, I could go with a plain wiz up to lvl 5 and then the PGTF Incantatrix (losing only one school)... what do you think ?

While specializing would help with IoSFV reqs, you really don't have to specialize.
Heck, cleche' or not, that first Wizard Substitution level is wonderful.

You could also grab a level or two in Fatespinner (need Wiz 7 to qualify). You lose nothing, easy to qualify for, and nice abilities....

I played a Wizard5/Mage of the Arcane Order2/Fatespinner2/IotSV3 up until recently, and had a blast doing it.

Just my .02c

IMO? The best wiz build if there ever was one.

You don't specialize, so you lose only one school. There is a good reason one of the requirements for Incantatrix remains that you can't have lost access to the school of abjurations. The theme of the class is still protection spells. That's why most of the abilities (and best uses of abilities) focus on improving existing persistant spell effects (which means usually abjurations).

Theres a string of 3 feats in Lost Kingdoms that "un-forbids" a school of magic. Considering how many feats Incantatrix builds have, thats not too bad.

Yes, but since I need three more feats for the Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil at the 10th lvl, this is hardly an option.
