I had a flash of insight thumbing through the PHB:2. However i am at a lack for how to ececute it. With a quickened dimension door, a dimension door, and Abrupt jaunt, you are staring down three full attacks in a round. The problem i run into is making the build playable at all levels, due to the Hefty Costs of the Telflammar Shadowlord prestige class. Best idea i have had so far is 1 Rogue/1Spellthief/7 Wizard/Telflammar Shadowlord 4/XX. The problems inherent in that aforementioned build are obvious. Lack of feat choices, and AWFUL base attack. Any input would be much appreciated, I have access to most all books save minds eye. I do not own complete mage, but i do have access to it. Thanks :)

There's a reserve feat in Complete Mage that lets you short-range teleport (5' I think) as long as you have a spell with the [Teleport] descriptor prepared. A 4 level dip into TSL is enough to get you Shadow Pounce. Getting the neccessary skills shouldn't be TOO hard. Let's see if we can make this work...

Human
Rogue 1 Able Learner, TWF
Human Paragon 1
Wizard 1 Weapon Focus (Dagger)
Human Paragon 2 Practiced Spellcaster
Human Paragon 3
Daggerspell Mage 1 Dodge
DSM 2
DSM 3
DSM 4 Mobility
DSM 5
DSM 6
DSM 7 Spring Attack
DSM 8
DSM 9
DSM 10 Blind-Fight
Arcane Trickster 1
TSL 1
TSL 2 Dimensional Jaunt
TSL 3
TSL 4

I guess it could be done theoretically, but the payoff is pretty late. I'm out 7 caster levels, my BAB is screwed, and I had to eat a WHOLE mess of feats for prereqs that don't synergize. Ah well, it was worth a shot. Maybe someone can clean this up some?

another option is to use crinti shadow marauder instead of TSL.

But i have a question :
dimension door spell description specificaly states that you can’t take any other actions until your next turn.
shadow pounce allows you to make a full attack after you are teleported (using dimension door, teleport, abrupt jaunt, shadow walk, ...).

So we shouldn't be able to cast a spell (even quickened) after the dimension door.
You cast dimension door, make the full attack and end of turn. No quickened dimension door, no abrupt jaunt unless you're using it during opponent's turn.

Dimensional Jaunt has no such limitation :)

Take a minor peek at the thread that I recently made. It might give you some ideas.

A good trick is to take Swordsage at 9th. This should give you the necessary skills to enter Shadowlord, also you'll get Assassin's Stance which will give you the necessary 2d6 sneak attack that you need.

So let's see we could get Wizard 5/whatever 3/ Swordsage 1/ Shadowlord 4

1: dodge, mobility
3: Spring Attack
6: Blind-fight
9: *Free*

Very nice and clean :) Or you could take Able Learner at 1st level to help with skill acquisition.

Gnome
Illusionist 1 Spell Focus (Illusion)
Illusionist 2
Illusionist 3 Dodge
Master Specialist 1 Skill Focus (Spellcraft)
Master Specialist 2
Master Specialist 3 Greater Spell Focus, Mobility
Master Specialist 4 Minor School Esoterica
Shadowcraft Mage 1
Shadowcraft Mage 2 Spring Attack
Swordsage 1
Jade Phoenix Mage 1
Jade Phoenix Mage 2 Blind Fight
Telflammar Shadowlord 1
Telflammar Shadowlord 2
Telflammar Shadowlord 3 Dimensional Jaunt
Telflammar Shadowlord 4

You could play around with this some more, but I thought I crammed a lot of goodies into this.

There are a few spells in PHB II, Dimension Hop, and Dimension Step that do not have the limitation of dimension door, as well, second and third level, respectively. I just woke up so im still trying to catch up on everything that was posted last night XD.

As per CustServ (and RAW), the 1st level of any of the Martial Adept base classes only gives 1st level stances.

Swordsage 2 will do it though, or the aforementioned Martial Study + Martial Stance.

Abrupt Jaunt costs an immediate action to use...
Quickened Dimensional Door costs a swift action to use...

I don't believe you can use both in the same round.

Ah, that's a good point to make. When it says that I think it's obvious the the author is assuming that you're not multiclassing into Swordsage later. I think most Dms would be fine with it though. Gah, I don't think they'll ever make an eratta for ToB though.

You cant, but at this point the ToB maneuvers are being used to teleport not Dimension Door.

I saw the Blink Shirt from MoI, and my eyes widened, perhaps to soon, would this qualify the dimension door prerequisite of the Telflammar Shadowlord pre-reqs?
