TheGregorian 12-28-04, 04:55 AM	heh... I just thought'd I'd share something with jew all. I give you this concept and see if you guys can think of ways to make good things happen to it. A build I likey mucho mucho was Mr. Masochism. Basic fundamentals: class=psion/sangehirn (from the WotC site... it gives DR, fast healing, and makes psionic healing powers better). I gave myself a decent Dex and took the combat reflexes feat... but I also, purposefully wore no armor, took the "Karmic Strike" feat (always had it active: -4 to AC but you get an AoO any time someone hits you) and another feat that I don't remember from the complete warrior I believe... another -4 to AC to give you a bonus to attacks I think... eh, anywho, point is the AC is very very low. I also made sure to always have ready powers like hostile empathic feedback, energy retort, and forced share pain. Idea for the build is a gimpy looking psion, with literally no armor who is a masochist... so much so that he never hurts other people, he only makes them hurt themselves (uses death urge and recall agony as much as possible) He carries around a vicious scythe... but doesn't like attacking with it... instead when he uses death urge on someone, he hands the scythe to them to let them kill themselves. (death urge makes them always crit, so always x4 to themselves, plus vicious does an extra 2d6 to what you attack, and 1d6 to the one attacking... since they attack themselves, they hit for x4 damage +3d6, lol) Other than just mind games he spends his turn healing himself only to keep his body together so that he can enjoy more pain in the future. Sorry, it's really late at night so I don't know if the above part has a point or makes sense so I'll try again: What would you guys do to make a character who kills people... just by letting them kill themselves... directly, or by the soon to be dead character hitting you... (karmic strike+combat reflexes seemed to work well, btw)

clichecow 12-28-04, 06:13 PM	there is a spell which should be good for your concept in the D&D diablo II: diablerie book (3E) called Iron maiden that curses the target, dealing 1 point of damage for every 2 points it deals to anyone else. It's a divine spell, but only 3rd level so you could get a wand of it if you can make the UMD checks.
