| Tenken01-31-06, 02:54 AM | What should a druid do to get high AC below level 13? I'm starting a lvl 10 campaign, and right now I can only get 30 AC max by wild shaping into a Cave Ankylosaurus (MiniHB) and using a +4 animated shield. Is there anything better that I could do? |
| GaffeR01-31-06, 02:59 AM | Amulet of Natural Armor +5 Ring of Protection +5 Monk's Belt (Wis to AC) +5 Defending Weapon (if you can hold it) +5 Wild Darkleaf Breasplate - +10 Buffing spells? I'm sure it'd be a bit tricky to wear rings, belts, and amulets in the form of a cave ankylosaurus.. but whatever :) Adjust the bonuses to taste. |

Which is why I'm asking :) You could always change forms, or grab some of those wacky wilding clasps from Magic of Faerun. 4k each clips the item onto you. Also, one could argue that the amulet acted as a collar. I've seen a few dinos in collars before. Possible also with belt.. but that's pushing it. You'd likely wind up with higher ac with the gear than in the ankylosaurus form. |
