Hello.

I was thinking that I better make sure about this AC.

Anyway, there is a level 2 halfling paladin with full-plate & tower shield. Is his armor class really 10 +8 (fp) +4 (ts) +1 (dex) +1 (size) = 24 and fighting defensively 26 or did I miss anything?

Thanks.

Does one really still get a dex bonus with all that armor on?

@Sakris:
Yes, he does. Full Plate Armor limits your dexterity bonus to AC to +1.
@Simpy:
Yes, he' d have 26 AC when fighting defensively. However, he'd suffer a -6 penalty on attack rolls : -2 (tower shield) , -4 (fighting defensively).

Remember, it's cheaper to get a +3 shield and +3 armor than it is to get a +5 shield. It's a pity he's not a dwarf; then he could take levels of Deepwarden to make that AC even sicker.
