Khelendross 07-28-06, 01:04 PM	Okay, Just for kicks using all 3.5 source books what is the best AC/HP guy you can come up with. I was thinking a Dwarf with 2 level Deepwarden for sure and not sure what after that. Maybe a Fighter/deepwarden/dwarven defender? And can teh feat roll with it out of the savage species be taken more than once. If so woudn't it be nice to take roll with it every 3rd level on top of dwarven defender?

Khelendross 07-28-06, 09:09 PM	Okay how is this...20 level build(keep in mind my DM has it to were if you could hit the Requirements to level with the prestige class you hit that level in prestige class instead) Dwarf 1 Barb (Toughness) 2 Barb 3 Barb (Endurence) 4 Barb (+1 Con) 5 Deepwarden 6 Deepwarden (Dodge) 7 Dwarven Defender 8 Dwarven Defender (+1 Con) 9 Dwarven Defender (Roll with it) 10 Dwarven Defender 11 Dwarven Defender 12 Dwarven Defender (+1 Con)(Roll with it) 13 Dwarven Defender 14 Dwarven Defender 15 Dwarven Defender (Roll with it) 16 Dwarven Defender (+1 Con) 17 Dwarf Paragon 18 Dwarf Paragon 19 Dwarf Paragon (Roll with it) 20 Barb (+1 Con) This is all done with memory and no books in front of me but if you tall it up you have d12 hits all the way to 20 with a starting con of 20 you'll have at min a 27. Like a 14/- damage reduction and some nice AC. Not a optimized build but nice.
PhaedrusXY 07-28-06, 09:30 PM	Dwarven Defender: Any Lawful. Barbarians lose their Rage if they become lawful. Half-orc Paragon can get you Rage without the alignment restriction, and Warmind can get you a calmer "Rage-like" ability that stacks with rage, and also an AC boosting ability. And finally, the Hordebreaker PrC gets an ability much like the Defensive Stance of DD, but only gets one use per day. The PrC is only 5 levels long, though. It is in the Silver Marches. Bear Warrior would boost your Con alot more when you Rage (and hence your AC), but you'd lose the use of some magic items. I have a build in my sig that should have a fairly high AC and hit points that uses some of this stuff (the Dwarven Answerer link). A modified version might look like: Dwarven Barb1/PsyWar2/Ftr2/Warmind8/DeepWarden2/Hordebreaker5 Feats: Reckless Rage, Extra Rage, Endurance, Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave When using Rage, "Anvil of D0om", and both Warmind "Chains" you get: +12 Str, +14 Con, and a +12 to AC (counting the increase to Con, but not from your "base" con bonus).
