02-26-04, 09:08 AM Someone on another board I frequent once said that deleting posts causes a strain on the server, because the remaining posts have to be reindexed. They instead move dumb threads to a locked forum with a catchy theme song.

I don't know if that's true here, but I don't think I've ever seen a post actually deleted from this board.
