What is the best way to acquire Combat Expertise as a bonus feat without having to invest 13 Int?

I know Monks with the "Passive Way Style" (3.5, UA) get it at 1st level. But if you can't be lawful, then that's bad.

I know Watch Detectives (3.0, MotW) get it at 2nd level.

What else can be used to get the feat relatively easily in 3.5 (without alignment restrictions if possible)?

I was recently looking for exactly the same thing.
I found exactly the same sources as yourself.

Sorry, but I think that's about it.

Whaddya have against 13 int? Anyway, all the feats Combat Expertise is a pre-req for also have the 13 int requirement, including Improved Combat Experitse.

So unless you want Combat Expertise for Combat Expertise' sake, you might as well just go Fighter and pick it up the old-fashioned way.

There are a few ways of getting around Combat Expertise as a prereq for certain feats. For example, the Wolf Berserker feat from Unapproachable East allows you to choose Improved Trip without having Com Exp, in addition to its other abilities.

Combat Expertise is a prerequisite for many feat chains, but unfortunately, for some less intelligent races which benefit a lof from those feats, the cost of the feat tends to make it hard to fit together (STR, DEX, CON are essential to many fighters, and WIS can't be ignored, while you can always ignore CHA (except for Leadership), having to invest "heavily" in Intelligence really makes it hard to get a decent point buy, a good example of MAD IMHO).

Combat Experience and 13 Int are a requirement for Sense Weakness. That feat alone is worth it for higher level characters.

If you are doing point buy then you can do STR 16, DEX 13, CON 14, INT 13, WIS 10, CHA 8 easily enough, thats only 26 points and makes a great FP fighter.
