I play a paladin, so I am wondering if I can squeeze just a little bit more usefulness out of my already overworked CHA bonus, I want to find a way to add my CHA bonus to my armor class, but the only way I can think of is to turn into a nymph, but I am not willing to give up my elfhood, an integral part of the character concept

Arcane Duelist grants Cha to AC. However, it requires some cross class skills and the ability to cast arcane spells as a prereq.

Dang and blast, I was hoping to get it without resorting to losing my paladinhood, which I don't know is worth the ac

You could always pick up Arcane Duelist and then go into a paladinly PrC, like Fist of Raziel or Hospitaler.

You can use the Divine Shield feat, it adds your Cha bonus to AC as a sacred bonus.

MW = any chaotic, paladin = lawful good.

Some fey have CHA to ac and saves. But since your character is already made there is not much you can do... Mystic Wanderer gets Cha to ac but you can't use armor, if i'm not mistaken.

If your DM doesn't mind, you could change your alignment to qualify for MW, change it back after level one, and get an atonement spell cast on you. That probably qualifies as rampant abuse, though.

So where do you find the PrC's that give Cha to Ac?

And would not theese PrC's be great for Sorc's?

Any thoughts?

A) Arcane Trickster is in Tome and Blood and the 3.5 Dungeon Master's Guide.

B) Mystic Wanderer is in Magic of Faerun.

A-1) Yes, if you don't mind diluting yourself a little bit...you'll need to take a few levels in Rogue to qualify for the Arcane Trickster, which does give you some decent abilities.

B-1) Not particularly, since it's a divine magic-based class...which is fine if you're wanting a sorc+cleric/favored soul/druid/whatever, but as a pure arcane caster you can't take it.

You could die and rise as a ghost it would give you cha to ac and ghosts are one of the few undeads with no alignment restrictions

Of course then fighting will be a lot harder and turn undead would probably be bad for you to use
