| scrollreader01-15-05, 07:17 AM | I really like the idea of an artificer thief/assassin type. And now, with Able Learner, I can finally make one. The question then becomes: what's the break point optimization sit at? Is it Rogue 1/Artificer 19? Straight up artificer, with skillz? Should I go Rogue 1/Artificer 12/Assassin 7? Swift Action Assassin spells look yummy, after CAdv, and there's Int synergy here, with a nice death attack DC, and 5d6 SA. Or maybe something like Rogue 2/Artificer 8/Assassin 10? Are wands all I really need? This is not to try to replace either a prmary caster or primary itemcrafter, but a self sufficient character, an arcane trickster (and not an arcane sneak attacker) with the core skills maxed out, and magic for everything else. EDIT: And Kung Fu Genius with Ninja. Is this possible/worth a feat? |
