The idea is this: Someone posts a completely made up PrC, feat, spell, magic item, or whatever. Ideally, it should be pretty believable - something you might consider letting into your own game, if you run one. The idea is then to create the most optimized character built around that feat (or whatever). Of course, the more central the made-up element is, the better. Once one invention is pretty much played out, someone posts another and it begins again. I'll start: Bracers of Bloodrending These crimson bracers enhance the wearer's melee attacks. Any time the wearer uses a slashing or piercing melee weapon to damage a creature with blood (or any liquid serving a similar purpose), the weapon deals an additional 2 points of damage, and the bracers gain one charge. These charges may be used in the following ways: Healing: As a free action, the wearer may have the bracers heal him. He may spend as many charges as he likes; he recovers one hit point for every charge spent. Strengthening: The bracers grant the wearer a +4 strength bonus. This ability takes a standard action to activate, and costs one charge a round. It may be deactivated as a standard action, and it automatically deactivates if the bracers run out of charges. Protection: The bracers grant the wearer DR 5/-. This damage reduction stacks with all other sources of DR. This ability takes a standard action to activate and costs two charges a round. It may be deactivated as a standard action, and it automatically deactivates if the bracers run out of charges. The bracers cannot stay charges for long periods of time; after two minutes in which no charges are gained or spent, they begin to lose charges at the rate of one a minute. Cost: 75,000 gp. Weight: 3 pounds. Prerequisites are irrelevant. |
