I would like some advice on what classes, feats and magical items I should work towards with my character.
Currently, he is:
Fighter4
Str 18, Dex 18, Con 16, Int 16, Wis 6, Cha 12
My current feats are:
Ancestral Relic, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, Weapon Focus (Longbow), Weapon Spec (Longbow)

I'm working on an archery character, as my feats would indicate. I wield a Masterwork Composite Longbow (Str +4), which is the focus of my Ancestral Relic feat. I want to take Order of the Bow Initiate.

My character plan/sketch is:
Lvl 5: Ranger 1? - I'm not sure about this at all. Bow: +1
Lvl 6: Order of the Bow (straight through 15) / Feat: Manyshot
Lvl 7: Bow: +1/Seeking
Lvl 9: Feat: Improved Rapid Shot, Bow +1/seeking/blood-seeking
Lvl 12: Feat: Improved Precise Shot, Bow +1/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking
Lvl 13: Bow +2/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking
Lvl 14: Bow +2/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking/shrieking
Lvl 15: Feat: Greater Manyshot, Bow +2/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking/shrieking/corrosive
Lvl 16: I don't know what class to take at this point. Bow +2/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking/shrieking/corrosive/distance
Lvl 17: Bow +3/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking/shrieking/corrosive
Lvl 18: Bow +3/seeking/blood-seeking/surestriking/shrieking/corrosive/bane

I know that my will save is going to be horrible, but for RP reasons, I want to keep it bad.

I'm considering moving Greater ManyShot up to Lvl 9 and moving the lvl 9 and 12 feats to 12 and 15, respectively.

I don't know what magic items I should work for. I'm thinking of bracers of archery, cloak of resistance. I'm not sure that the weapon enhancements I'm taking on the bow are the right things, either. Maybe I should move the seeking and blood-seeking into elemental damage or straight enhancement bonuses?

The books I have to work with are 3.5 wizards stuff. The core are definately in, the Complete series is in. Stuff from other wizards books requires case-by-case approval.

Don't take OotBI. It is a terrible class since it was updated to 3.5. Look at Deepwood sniper from MotW, Peerless archer from Silver Marches, or cragtop archer from Races of Stone. Also try doing a search for ksbsnowowl's archer builds. They are really good.

I can honestly say that this is not a good candidate for a cleric-archer. ;)

Yeah *grin*. I think he's a little too rash for clerical stuff.
I don't have Silver Marches, so I'll take a look at it next time I'm at Books-a-Million.
Do you guys have any suggestions for magical items?

With that Wisdom? A Cowl of Warding as soon as you can scrape together 200k gp.

If you plan on going against anything with casting ability, your Will save — currently +0 with mods — is going to get you taken out early and often.

You really need to boost your Will save. So for you, Order of the Bow Initiate (good saves= reflex, will) is a good idea, despite the downgrading of the class. Just take two levels, though.

Ranger is a good choice for your next level, but really any +1 BAB class besides fighter would be OK. OA Samurai would be perfect with its Ancestral Weapon -- but you've got that already. What books are allowed?

You could pick up Occult Slayer after OotBI if you still need will-boosting; it's good otherwise, as well.

We're using the 3.5 core, the complete series, and the book of exalted deeds. We're allowed to request things from other wizards books, but they're all case-by-case.
