| Perun01-09-05, 01:22 PM | I'm looking for a bit of advice. My 10th-level human druid died last session, and got reincarnated as a 9th-level gnome druid. Now I have to re-equip my character. I sold some of my old items that weren't usable by aa Small character, and I'm left with: +1 ring of protection Bracers of healt (+2 Con) Periapt of Wisdom (+2) Circlet of Persuasion I also have in posession of a minor druidic artifact, a mask made of living woo which enables me to speak while wildshaped, gives a +4 bonus to AC when I'm wildshaped, and I gain familiartiy with new animal forms on sight. My stats are: Str 11 Dex 14 Con 18 Int 12 Wis 19 Cha 11 And I have the following feats: Great Fortitude Lightning Reflexes Blind Fight Natural spell Blindsence (converted from 3.0 MotW, 40 ft. radius) FWIW, my maxed out skills are Listen, Spot, Knowledge (nature), and Survival. I have some ranks in Heal, Craft (alchemy), Ride, Profession (herbalist), and Swim. I have no rakns in neither Concentration nor Spellcraft. The character started out as a underdark-themed druid, but has somewhat moved away form that concept (campaign took him away from the underdark). He prefers to fight wildshaped. The campaign is set in FR, and the character worships Silvanus. And, finally, I have a bit less than 10,000 gp in cash and the least Bag of Holding. I have to purchase armour and weapon. I have some connections among the druids in and aournd Waterdeep, and they can arrange me a discount (about 20%, but depending on items) on my purchase. I'd prefer not to be encumbered, so I was planning on getting a Heward's Handy Haversack (my light load limit is 26,5 Lbs., the least bag of holding weighs 15 Lbs., add in the weapon and armor weight, and I'm easily in medium ecumberance). In the Unapproachable East, there's a new special material, bluewood. Both weapons and armour can be made from bluewood, and they all weigh one-half the normal weight for items. So, I was thinking: +1 shocking bluewood club +1 bluewood chainshirt Heward handy Haversack heavy bluewood shield (all items are Small, of course). Does anyone have a better suggestion? Thanks in advance! |
