Race: Human
Stats: 13,12,12,11,10,8 +7 freebie points to distribute on a 1 per 1 basis.

Also this race of human I'm playing is campaign specific, it grants the following adjustments to ability scores:

-2 either Int or Wis
-2 Cha
+2 either Str or Con AND +2 Dex - OR
+4 either Str, Con or Dex

Material Allowed: 3.5 core, Complete Warrior, 3.0 splatbooks, OA (with DM approval, probably not any of the clan specific prc's)

ABSOLUTELY no Forgottens Realms material is allowed.

Proposed Stat Array:
Stat/Race Adj./Freebie Adj./Final Score
Str 10/0/0 = 10
Dex 13/+4/0=17
Con 12/0/0= 12
Int 12/0/+6=18
Wis 11/-2/+1=10
Cha 8/-2/0= 6

Proposed Build:

1 Rog1 2 Improved Initiative, Two-Weapon Fighting
2 Swb1 Weapon Finesse (bonus)
3 Swb2 1 Weapon Focus (Dagger)
4 Swb3
5 Rog2
6 Ftr1 2 Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot
7 Ftr2 1 Far Shot
8 MT1 Quickdraw (bonus)
9 IB1 1 Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
10 Rog3
11 MT2
12 MT3 1 Greater Two-Weapon Fighting
13 MT4
14 MT5
15 IB2 1 Rapid Shot
16 IB3
17 IB4
18 IB5 1 Improved Critical (Dagger)
19 Rog4
20 Rog5

Thrown Weapon Tricks: 1st Palm Throw, 2nd Trip Shot, 3rd Weak Spot

I know the Cha is gonna hurt my Bluff Skill, but maybe I can get ahold of a charisma boosting item, or something that adds to my bluff skill.

Any critiques? Ideas on skills, equipment? build, stat changes?

Thanks in advance...

I would consider taking defensive throw instead of trip shot with a str that low. Going to want to pick up returning daggers for this character along with a set of metaline/aligned daggers preferably metaline that you can change the alignment on the daggers. Any DR is going to cost you big so back that up with some elemental ones as well. Also want to pick up double hit from Miniatures Handbook allows two strikes on an attack of Opportunity.

Metalline is not allowed, as it hails from a Forgotten Realms book. Neither is Double Hit, no MiniHB allowed.

Only material allowed is 3.5 core, Complete Warrior, Some OA, 3.0 splatbooks.

On a note about Trip Shot vs. Defensive Throw. I don't plan to be throwing that close in melee, if the situation comes I'll engage in melee. Hence the Invisible Blade levels, and the swashbuckler levels. My HP however will be low. I con boosting item is a must.

I think being able to trip with everyone of your attacks while still doing normal damage is quite powerful. You may not win all of the opposed rolls but with so many attacks, your opponent will fail one eventually. Leaves lots of room open for battle field control from a distance.

As for facing DR, I'll have a few key DR penetrating daggers, preferably in a set, so I can go to work in melee.

The metaline was a misread I thought it was in the srd but alas alack it is not. As for trip shot I just glanced over it and didn't notice you used your dex not strength for the trip and got a bonus to it while still doing damage, a very nice option in that case.

Bump

Any ideas? I think character may have to be the party skill monkey, though i think a bard is joining the campaign. If I go the skill monkey route I think I'll drop the Invisible Blade levels for rogue levels.

If you want, you can get to MT one level faster (7th), but I'm pretty sure it means giving up Imp. Init. and moving PBS into its place. I think it's worth it, personally, since you want palm throw and the free Quick Draw as soon as possible. :ayyyy!:

As for equipment, look at Glove of Taarnham the Vigilant, PGtF p 123. If that costs 10K, maybe you could cajole your DM into giving you two "gloves of returning" (without the Throw Anything function) for, I dunno, 12K.

If some OA is allowed, try and get your dm to let you use Ninja instead of Rogue..

While it might be allowed, I don't know if it fits well with this area of the campaign. Is there something particular in mind about the ninja, rather than "just play one"?

On a side note: Do you mean the Ninja Spy PrC or the rokugan core class? (Which is not allowed).

Any ideas? How about how I've got stats arranged? I wasnt sure if that was an optimal choice. I've also been considering dropping the invisible blade levels in favor of rogue for the skills.

I guess he was referring to the Rokugan Ninja core class. (full BAB, +1d6 SA at even levels, intelligence to initiative @ 4, dodge...)

It's pure gold for rogue/fighters.
