hi,

i am creating a Golden Half-Dragon / Half-Human for a group a friend of mine is playing
after finishing the point buy stuff and thinking about classes and feats and PrCs i ended up like this:

3 Levels Half-Dragon Paragon + 2 Levels Paladin

i was planning to now continue as Kensai to improve my claws as i will concentrate on using them as my primary weapons, my feats are currently improved natural attack claws, weapon focus claws, combat expertise (last two are needed for kensai :/)

is it possible to get the improved natural attack feat more then once per natural weapon?

do you have any other suggestions for feats to power up my dmg or any other ideas for prestige classes?

we have house ruled that the half-dragon paragon class levels count as sorcerer levels so that my character has 3 sorcerer levels within the 3 half-dragon paragon levels

i can use every source from wizards for my character creation but no prcs that are bound to gods, we are playing a mix of 3.0 and 3.5 (best for players of both counts)

The Rapidstrike feat from Draconomicon is your friend.

You can use Arcane Strike to boost your damage. I'm not sure how much you intend to pursue your spellcasting abilities, but I'm guessing that since you want to take Kensai that you probably don't care much about it. Look through the Draconomicon, see if there are any fun feats that you have access to with the Dragon subtype. Rapidstrike/Improved Rapid Strike is one of them.

rapid strike sounds realy nice, but first i have to reach a BAB of 10 :)

i havent yet thought about more caster levels, i would like to concentrate on melee, if i could take a prestige class that would boost my spell caster levels and boost my combat abilities i would sure use it

i am not that fixed to a kensai, but it seemed to me the only way to get my natural weapons to a level where they could overcome DR, that is main reason why i choosed that class

after all my stats are: str 24, dex 10, con 18, int 16, wis 12 and cha 16

If you can use items consider the amulet of natural attacks (savage species) or the amulet of mighty fists(S&F). The first lets you make your natural attacks +1 - +5 equivalent weapons (so you can choose enhancements) while the second makes them straight enhancement bonuses.

Most spell casting melees have worse hp or bad spell casting. For an unarmed character with paladin levels, sacred fist might be nice but you'd have to wait a little while for the complete divine to come out.

i have got some items from my dm (bracers that will allow me to regenerate 1 point per round, a vest that improves my saves a little, and the most important i think is the ring that gives me cold resistance 30), no other stuff, but i think i might be able to buy something like that during the campaign

another question would be, would it be worth to use the battle sorcerer? i could change some of my stats to make that class more fitting like: str 24 wis 10 cha 18?

i dont know if it is worth, cause i would loose another spell known per level and one spell i am able to cast per level

i could also try to get a weapon during the campaign, i have chosen the claws and bite as weapons for the flavor after all :)

i had a little chat with my dm and i came up with another might be good idea for the character, but i am not sure...

the deal would be:
race : half dragon / silvanesti elf (we are playing DL)
stats:
str 24
dex 16
con 17
int 18
wis 10
cha 12

levels:
1 hd para (still spell) (class counts as level 1 sorcerer)
2 fighter (expertise)
3 fighter (dodge, combat casting)
4 fighter
5 fighter (weapon focus ls)

from here my dm would allow me to continue as the 3.0 blade singer from RoF, does this makes sense for anyone of you?
