| obeah08-02-06, 08:57 AM | O.k I have a new campaign cumming up, but there are some strange rules involved. 1) Character can't be a humanoid or a monsterous humanoid. :( 2) Level 20 character 3) Books: PBH, PBH2, MM2, MM3, Spell compendium. I am going to need a powerful character, I enjoy playing as a druid as i think that is a fun and interesting class but i have no idea what race, feats or status i should aim for. Plz help |
| Necromas08-02-06, 09:18 AM | Hm... so you're pretty much restricted to things like fey, animals, magical beasts, and such? |
| Abe Lincoln08-02-06, 09:26 AM | Done! Be an elf, take the feat from FR that turns you into an outsider. Druid 20. Bugger. Just realized you don't have FR books.... Umm gimme a minute. |
| obeah08-02-06, 09:26 AM | yeah :weep:, only things like outsiders can be used |
| Xaktsaroth08-02-06, 12:03 PM | Be a LA + 0 Asasimir or Tiefling, found here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a). Their outsiders, but not much else. |
| jameswilliamogle08-02-06, 12:07 PM | Anthropomorphic Monkey Druid 20. The beauty of this one is that you can use the animal only buffs on yourself. And it's spelled coming. What you wrote means something else entirely. |

| SalParadise08-05-06, 01:27 PM | And it's spelled coming. What you wrote means something else entirely. Not to be a stickler, but 'cumming' is just a mispelling of 'coming' generally used for a different intent (but a derivative of the same word). The only dictionary-applicable use of the word 'cumming' is to apply to a couple cities in the US by that name. Otherwise it's just an incorrect spelling of the verb 'to come' in whatever form. |
| Hanniball08-05-06, 05:57 PM | Since you didn't give us anything to work with I'm just tossing something out there. If your DM is allowing only monster races, I would strongly consider playing a Sylph from MM2 if you're interested in an tiny, but uber caster. What's so damn good about this race is that it stacks nicely with arcane trickster or daggerspell mage. I'll tell you why: it's +5 LA (according to the 3.5 conversion guide) and you have 3 Fey HD. On the other hand, you begin as a 7th-level caster - effectively losing only 1 caster level, and you have huge bonuses to Cha and Int, as well as good Dex. You also have improved invisibility at will! Either way...just my 2 cp |
