aiming at the ninja spy [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-22-06, 05:20 PM I just started playing a Rokugan campaign, and I am aiming for rogue7/ninja spy?/fighter or ninja2. I'm not sure what I'm going to go with after I've gotten a few levels of ninja spy. One weapon I'm looking into is chain, or spiked chain.
character so far is 5th level elven rogue(not completely straight rokugan) with dodge, and combat reflexes.
str 16
dex 21
con 16
int 18
wis 18
cha 17
I am somewhat afiliated with the crane clan. I'm a protector of a high official of the crane clan, that had been kidnapped(I wasn't on whatch at that time), and taken to a castle near or in the shadowlands(I wasn't sure when we played). We are still in the castle with all but three of the lords.

I'm looking at either the ghost step of the ninja or the feats of the fighter(making the chain more useful with trip or disarm).

What do you guys think would be better?

Also, you should definatly take a level in monk to get wis to AC. Why not take it further and add Iaijutsu Master so you can add Dex, Wis and Int to AC???

Rogue 3/ Monk 2/ Rokugan Ninja 4/ Iaijutsu Master 1/ Ninja Spy 10

Ofcourse, you might not have the option to change your character...

Rogue 5/ Monk 1/ Rokugan 4/ Ninja Spy 10 would be cool aswell. Elusive Target + Defensive Throw works wonders when mixed with Ninja Dodge by the way.

05-22-06, 06:49 PM I have not seen the rokugan ninja, and I can't get to it through the link you put up. My computer has very little room, and that may be the problem. Then again it might just be me.

I'm not sure how many times we are allowed to multiclass. I really wish I had more info to go on here. I can't even get ahold of the DM to find out. I think I should have gone ninja instead, but we already had one in the group. He's a ninja/sorc, and I figured to many of the same thing would be very daul in the game. We are close, but different enough to make it interesting.

Any other help

Oh yeah; I'm straight neutral.
