| Battousai12-21-03, 04:45 PM | You can't take weapon specialisation at fighter 1. |
| Funny Slaughter12-21-03, 06:19 PM | what is the point about elemental? i mean, why are you paying 14 levels for it? if you play your character until then you can let him die and start a druid of the same level, can change into an elemental and is a full load stronger then this. an elemental savant would also turn yourself into an elemental. air genasi would give you some of the benefits at a really much lower cost. with only 6 levels to play there is not much room, try to get a PrC at least, but you wont be epic-ready anyhow. there is nothing wrong with having an idea and maximising it, do it as you like, just be advised that you took a really low-powered option. and be careful about clerics with either the air- or earth-domain, they will seriously hurt you ;) gs Funny |
| MikeN12-21-03, 06:32 PM | Just a hint: almost every race in savage species is pretty worthless from the min-max standpoint...especially the elementals... I'm not really sure what to say beyond that... |
| Gilrion12-21-03, 06:39 PM | I've got to agree, 14 levels is a lot. Have you considered the half-elemental, from MotP? You get +2 Dex, Con, Int, Wis, and Cha, plus a bunch of spell-like abilities as you level up. The template still costs you 3 levels, so the air genasi might be an even better option. The options Funny Slaughter presented are even better from a min/max POV. Good luck with the build. |
