Okay as partly challenge, and partly helping me with my character... see if you can create the most optimal build using the following parameters:

Game Version: 3.0(though using 3.5 books like complete warrior)
Race: Air Genasi(+2 dex, +2 Int, -2 Cha, -2 Wis)
Ability Scores:

18
14
14
13
11
9

Classes: Rogue, Swashbuckler(optional), Fighter, Invisible Blade.

-Try to make an effective knife fighter in both melee/range. This character will be played from level 1 onward so what the character has at say, level 14, is less important than overall playability throughout the character's life.

-No experience penalty can be possible at any point(thus fighter will likely be later in the build and swash being more towards the beginning due to fighter being the air genasi favored class)

-Try to have rogue levels spread out as to maximize skill coverage in skills not available to the other classes.

-Prestige into Invisible blade fairly quickly, though it need not be rushed.

-These feats are encouraged:

Ambidexterity
Expert Tactician(Song & Silence)
Far Shot
Improved Critical
Improved Initiative
Point Blank Shot
Power Critical(Complete Warrior)
Quick Draw
Rapid Shot
Twin Sword Style(Campaign Setting)
Two Weapon Fighting
Weapon Finesse
Weapon Focus
Weapon Specialization

Good luck!

If you can try and switch out Rogue for Ninja...they have full BAB like a fighter but they don't get as many skills per level..also if you plan on spreading the levels out..at level 4 you get int to initiative

You can't be a genesi with this, but check out Knifefighter feat from the most recent players guide to Faerun. It allows a light weapon wielder start a grapple and do melee attacks in that grapple with no penalty.

Why is this so neat? You always loose dexterity in a grapple. Full sneak attacks:smirk: . One feat.

Even better, to get away from you, they have to succeed at a grapple check, which isn't a given, and even if they do, they don't do damage to you. They can't attack you with anything but light weapons in that grapple, and even if they try to draw a dagger, it provokes an attack of opportunity and they still have to make a grapple check to get it out.
