Alacritous Cogitation... Summon in an instant? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-28-06, 07:21 PM Alacritous Cogitation from Complete Mage seems to be allowing a wizard to not only fill an empty slot in a full-round action, but cast it as part of that same action. Does this mean that a Summon spell would be reduced to a 1 full-round action casting time instead of 1 round? Or spells with even longer casting times would be reduced to 1 full round action?

It's a perfect foil to Legend Lore's hideous multi-day casting time!

We'll have to watch this one closely when erratta gets published. Although I'm certain more broken mechanics will get ignored in the process.
