Hi all
I'm currently playing in a campaign with a Human Duskblade 5 and we discovered that we can use our knowledge of history of the real world (as players) with our chars, because we are playing around the Mediterranean sea.

I was aiming for Dusk13/cham7 as the popular build out there, but since our dm will hit us with the nerf bat over and over until we are on the same level in power as the other players, well... Power became a less attractive option.

So i was thinking: "I wish that my char could see all the world until this era, i just need to survive". And then i though of the Green Star Adept, he can live for eons, just what i need. Duskblade fill the requeriments very easy, but i still need help to build him to survive every encounter of his equivalent level.

I'm allowed to use core, complete, races (no dragon) , phbII (only feats, base classes and spells), Exalted Deeds, Vile Darkness, Libris Mortis, draconomicon and heroes of horror. Dm rule: Extra spell cannot let you choose spells of other lists. I am pretty sure that i want a Dusk5/GrStAd10. I need your help with the feats, spells, tactics and stats for a 15th level char please :)

Let's make it so he doesn't suck! Thanks in advance! :D

Any ideas so far?
I was thinking in taking Improved Toughness, PA and Leap Attack to take advantage of the str bonuses.
Better ideas are gratefully accepted :)

There was one about a month ago that seemed pretty interesting. Found it. (http://boards1.wizards.com/archive/index.php/t-643102.html)

GreenStar10 is generally a very tough task — the lack of the Con score is an absolute killer. This is mitigated somewhat if you start as GreenStar10 (and so don't have to worry about a low con early in your career) but you HP will still be low. GS8 is often cited as a good break point.

I'm not sure I like the Duskblade prefix, either — it already has a slow casting progression and the 1/2 progression from GSA makes this worse. And you don't get "Repair Damage" spells, which you'll need as a GSA.

Perhaps DuskbladeX/SuelArcanamach4/GSAX?

Thanks for your opinion and the link, rilem, Suel Arcanamach it is a great idea that i've never thinked of.
Well, the goal here is to get eternal life, or to not die of old age, without having be undead. Are there more Prc classes that give these and some spellcasting?
I forgot to add that sandstorm, frostburn and stormwrack are allowed too :)

Hmm ... how old are we talking?

Most of the usual ways have the same con problem — though a Necropolitan Spellcaster gives up a lot less than a Greenstar Adept. If you're a Dread Necromancer you can even heal yourself pretty reliably.

If Psionic races were allowed, Elan would be perfect. They can live for 2,000 years.

But even an Venerable Elven Druid (age 725) might have enough of a lifespan to get the history knowledge you need.

Thanks all for your suggestions :D
I didn't want to become an undead but they are not so bad =P.
Unfortunately I can't be a killoren, already made my desicion with human, my dm won't let me change it =(.
But it's ok maybe as necropolitan i can continue with dusk13/cham7 :D

Elans have no maximum age. Check the errata. :)

I don't recall for certain, but I think the Cloud Anchorite (Frostburn) lets you live forever without sacking your Con. It's a monk PrC however.
