| Bob the level 1 Fighter11-06-04, 06:06 PM | We used 4d6 drop the lowest in any order for our characters. I have not disided on race or class yet for this reason. I rolled these stats. We start at level 4 so any race with +3 LA or lower is acceptable. What do you people think is the idea race and class for me to take? Just a side note, this DM uses Cha as Will save rather than Wis. Str: 14 Dex: 14 Con: 14 Int: 14 Wis: 14 Cha: 14 |

| Eyeless Blond11-06-04, 07:00 PM | Off the cuff, I'd say Monk, Ranger or Paladin. Each class can make use of a decent score in every stat. LA is generally useless; you can almost never go wrong with plain old human. |
| SigmaJargon11-06-04, 07:48 PM | hmm... Cha to will saves instead of will, eh? Unless WIS becomes important to your build somehow, I'd suggest the magic-blooded template, from Dragon 306. -2 wis +2 cha and some misc abilities for +0 LA certainly won't hurt. |
| MetalGemini11-07-04, 11:57 AM | Aasimar monk is very nice. +1 LA for +2 Wis & +2 Cha w/ spell-like abilities. Makes for a great Monk/Kensai. Use the level adjustment buyoff in UA and you'll barely feel the penalty but enjoy the benefits. |
| Otto the Bugbear11-07-04, 12:42 PM | Bugbear ranger. End of discussion. Cheers Otto :) |
| dawgfan11-07-04, 05:12 PM | Without a doubt, githzerai monk, its +2 LA so try and use the LA buyoff in UA. |
| neilthrun11-07-04, 05:26 PM | Id go with a fighter of some kind. You qualify for expertise, dodge, stunning fist among many others. One more point into strength(through either your lvl 4 point or non human race) and you qualify for Earths Embrace from Complete Warrior. Youve got nice stats, you can do almost anything with them. |
