This directly contradicts the first level Dawncaller power which says Goliaths have latent Darkvision, and of coarse it's not listed under the racial description. I am happy about this, despite my belief that it was intended they do not have it, as I thought they should have had it all along.

Not only does it make Goliaths even a little better, it technically means that they agree that all outsiders are proficient with all martial weapons, even if it's not listed under the races racial abilities :D

I know mine will not. By RAW though you are probally right.
