| Vennettai03-20-06, 08:34 PM | this is my ranger build as of present. i was wondering were i should go from here to keep developing his archer skills. Ranger2/Fighter2 human age23 speed 30 hp 38 Init 8=4+4 ac 22= 10+4+4+2+2 Str 14 dex 18 con 15 int 14 wis 15 cha 10 bab4 Fort 8=6+2 reflex 6=3+4 will 2=0+2 Melee 6=4+2 ranged 8=4+4 Skills Craft bowmaking 6=4+2 Gather Information 6 Handle Animal 2 Heal 7=5+2 Hide 11=7+4 Knowledge(local) 6= 2+4 Knowledge(nature) 4=2+2 Knowledge(religion) 5=3+2 Listen 7=5+2 Move Silently 10=7+3 Sense Motive 5=3+2 Spot 7=2+5 Survival 5=3+2 Feats Track Wild Empathy Style archery(rapid Shot) Armor and Weapon Prof. all Fav. | Kuroi Kenshi03-20-06, 11:29 PM | I think OotBI is only really good for a 2 level dip. Pretty much everything except the close combat archery sucks in terms of opportunity cost. Here are some much better overall archer PrCs. Deepwood Sniper (Masters of the Wild) Peerless Archer (Silver Marches – a Forgotten Realms campaign accessory) Pious Templar (Complete Divine) Cragtop Archer (Races of Stone) Justice of the Weald and Woe (Champions of Ruin - a Forgotten Realms campaign accessory) Dread Commando (Heroes of Battle) For more in-depth explaination and builds, check KSB Snow Owl's Archer Thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=183604). Most the builds are 3.0, but there are some 3.5 updated and 3.5-only builds in there too. |
| Vennettai03-21-06, 12:24 AM | that weald and woe class is like almost perfect for what i want to do. thanks for bringing that to my attention. i just hope my dm will allow it. now if you guys now of some creatures i could get for an animal companion that would have a really nasty poison. also some items i could get. |
