With the Warlock's Flee the Scene invocation, "Nightcrawler"-style builds are a piece of cake. I'm interested in building one of these, but before I do I was wondering what Shadow Pounce gets you. Is it attractive just because of the options it gives you in on the battlefield? Or does Shadow Pouncing also make an opponent flat-footed, allowing sneak attack. If that's the case, where might I find the ruling to show my GM?

The character would be Rogue 1/Warlock 6/Sneak Attack Fighter 1/T-Shadowlord 4/Shou Disciple 5/Rouge 2-3/Sneak Attack Fighter 2 (requires human)

It only gives you a full attack after every teleport effect. The trick comes in pulling off multiple teleports in one round while having a high enough attack bonus to get the most attacks off.

If you're worried about SA, though, use any of the normal tricks rogues use (Rings of Blinking come to mind).

Shadowlord 5, although it costs you one attack bonus point, gives you an ability similar to the psionic power Firey Discorporation, but shadow-based. VERY useful in most of these d6 HD / melee builds. Level 6 gives you Death Attack, which can be even sicker when combined with some of the warlock's other tricks (24 hour invisibility plus 24 hour flight so as to not touch the ground? Easy 3 rounds of study). It's all up to how you want to use him.

Good 'nough. Then would the Warlock's Darkness invocation combined with the Shadowlord's Shadowsight allow me to sneak attack opponents in the Darkness field? (I can't seem to find the rule that states opponents with a miss chance against you are subject to SNA. Is that how the Ring of Blinking works?)

Tanx :)
