Ok guys and gals got a little question for you. I'm playing a stonechild was going to start fighter but the groups dm wanted a druid and since i've never played one i agreed to do it.

Heres the dilema i've got nicely impressive physical stats making wild shape kinda useless in its normal manner (we are relatively low lvl yet 3 monster class lvls 1 druid lvl for this character). I've been racking my brain on what route to take with this character and i was thinking of going along the route of a fighter/summoner (using only earth elementals and hiding his healing capability since no pcs know what his class is yet, generally playing it off as part of his race).

What prestige classes/feats would you suggest?

For feats i was thinking augment summoning, and using the wild shape feats from complete divine that adjust his abilities and not his shape(i.e.boars ferocity/cheetas speed). Question would those qualify for being in wildshape in order to gain the benifits of say the warshaper prestige class???

all thoughts comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

No, they don't qualify you for Warshaper bonusai.

However. If you can get a look at Unearthed Arcana, there's a variant form of wild shape (Aspect of Nature) that looks really good for someone with good physical stats.

I can't see it being worth using wildshape & your casting is 6 levels behind...
As such, I'd say go towards the lion of talisaid Prc from BoED. It gets you pounce at 6th level, which is a pretty rare ability & brilliant if you can get the shock trooper feat so you can take 14 from your ac & add it to attack for PA use:
La+4 stonechild2/druid4/fighter4/lion of talisaid6
BaB 14
important feats:
favoured of the companions
PA
improved bullrush
shock trooper

Well thats the best i can do...theres no way you can get 4 attacks unless you take all full BaB classes due to your La so your not really going to be a good fighter either.

question:
1.why does the party need a druid? Unless your in a 2 person group, you wont need one. If you need a healer say you want to play cleric & divine persistant divine power for full Bab. If you need a scout go ranger/barbarian/prc for full BaB.

Unfortunatly ua is out, otherwise i agree the variant would be cool. why wouldn't they qualify(I was going to try and persuade the dm they would, so if you could fill me in on the arguments against it that might help).

in answer to your question druid is a story line thing and the dm asked nicely...otherwise i agree cleric with a two level fighter dip for the bonus feats and persistance spells via divine metamagic is nice.

the character will have an adjusted str of 26 from his race alone unfortunatly his wis is a 12 so to due much spellcasting his lvl points will have to go there, but i figured a 26 str if a can snag a 3/4 bab (favore class fighter so diping there isn't a problem) should keep him a decent fighter...

where are shock trooper and favoured of the companions from???

Sounds like you`re after a fighter ranger druid.

As stated, your spellcasting, animal companion and wildshaping will really suck. Too low a level to be effective. While your strength seems a lot of use in bashing foes.

If they want a druid, fine, give them one, and ranger fits well with a fightery druid! (look into AXETHROWER if allowed, as a regional feat) hmmm powerfully thrown axes!

and as fighter is your favoured anyways, they can accept your need for that.

This way you can get a better BA.

As for the wild feats (do you have to be in wild shape to use them? Or can they be added to your natural form? I think that`s what you were asking?)

All the warshaper and natures warrior need you to be in wildshape for their abilities...

Ranger 4, fighter 4, Druid X+ would be good:
Focus and specialisation in your weapon.
Rangery fun, spells and all sorts
Druid bits spells and powers.
(though this way you`d have to have ranger and druid going up alternatively to avoid multiclassing problems, if your GM uses them!?)
