Master of the Squirrel's 03-05-04, 06:18 PM	The game I am running is somewhat like Planescape, in that it is entirely possible to be in Krynn one day, Rokugon another, and Toril the next week. So, this got me thinking; what character can use at least one PrC from each Campaign Setting and remain effective throughout all levels? I know there have got to be people out there who have been waiting for the chance to mix around all those settings into a blissful powerhouse, so now's your chance to go at it! I'll have a build up tommorow (game tonight).
rilem 03-05-04, 06:21 PM	Just for info: What settings are included in "all"? Is Eberron in? (there's a PrC out already) How about ex-WOTC settings like Ravenloft?
Master of the Squirrel's 03-05-04, 06:26 PM	Keep it to published material only. Ravenloft would be allowed, but there are no changes to classes or new prestige classes that would affect any of the build. I guess if you wanted to use d20 Ravenloft races that would be fine.

MikeN 03-06-04, 01:09 AM	Using the rules from UA for "buying back" LA gives some nice options for a pure caster. My favorite Sorcerer build just got a lot nastier... Strongheart Halfling White Dragonspawn Sorcerer6/Mage of the Arcane Order4/Dragonslayer1/Spellsword1/Divine Oracle6/Archmage2 A planewalker who becomes twisted by the power of the white dragonlord of Krynn, escapes or is rescued, tries to control the magic within him by joining with a planar organization of arcane casters, specializes in fighting dragons, using armor, and finally never ever again being surprised... Casts as a 21st level Sorcerer at 20th level (assuming using sellback rules -- white dragonspawn is LA +1). NA +7, +2 Con +2 Dex Flight (wings) Claws/bite (slightly but not very useful) Darkvision Breath Weapon 1/2d4 rounds (mostly worthless) Cold-type creature BAB +11/6/1 Spell pool abilities Evasion equivalent Uncanny dodge equivalent +10 % spell failure ignored Immune to fear 2 High Arcana

creepy drifter 03-06-04, 12:20 PM	Ninja 4 Wizard 2 Dragonslayer 1 Mage of the Arcane Order 2 Arcane Trickster 8 Spellfilch 3 (dragionlance) this is Snow Savant's build. but it fits all your campain genres. bab +13, +6d6 sneak, 8th level spells probably better for a more archer like arcane trickster. spellfilch is pretty cool. i know she likes it for its 3rd level ability which gives your sneak attack a huge jump once a day
