After spending a LOT of time composing my reply to the 3.5 rogue thread, I came up with the idea of a rogue-only party. This one is all lawful good and neutral good, for reasons that should be obvious. ;)

Rogue 5/Ranger 1/Slayer of Domiel 7/Shadowdancer 4/Sword of Righteousness 3

Rogue 5/Wizard 5/Arcane Trickster 10

Rogue 5/Dark Hunter 5/Invisible Blade 5/Master Thrower 5

Rogue 6/Paladin 4/Skullclan Hunter 10

Rogue 5/Monk 5/Disciple of the South Wind 10

I actually played in an all-rogue party. I played the male elven rogue/wizard, then there was a female human rogue/assassin, male halfling rogue/cleric, and a rogue/fighter (can remember the race, but it was male, if I remember correctly). It was loads of fun, and everyone was useful all the time. Should play again!!

We are currently playing in an all 'sneaky' campaign when some of the group can't attend. There are 3 main characters in Waterdeep doing all manner of crimes. I have to say that although the party is very specialized in certain areas (subterfuge) and weak in others (standard adventuring), because we choose our own encounters it works well. Basically if we come up against something hard, and the rewards aren't obvious we would flee and do an easier job or come back later

The party

Soc6/ Rog4/ Arcane Trickster10
Ftr4/ Rngr6/ Assassin10
Brd10/ Spymaster10

We are currently 6th level and very rich

It's a class from the miniatures handbook that can sneak attack undead as well as living targets.

Rogue4 / Cleric4 / MasterofShrouds3 / NarDemonbinder1 / ArcaneTrickster8
BAB +13, +6d6 SA, 8th Level Arcane & 4th Level Divine Spells. The "Mystic Theurge" ...

Rogue3 / Ranger2 / NentyarHunter5 / TempleRaider8 / SoldierofLight2
BAB +15, +5d6 SA, 5th Level Divine (NH) & 4th Level Divine (TR) Spells. The "Tracking Cleric" ...

Rogue3 / Wizard4 / MageArcaneOrder2 / ArcaneTrickster10 / Spellfilch1 BAB +10, +7d6 SA (+16d6 SA 1/Day!!), 9th Level Arcane Spells. The "Mage" ...

Rogue20
BAB +15, +10d6 SA, Maxed-Out UMD Skill! The "Rogue" ...

******

We're missing a Tank build ... but you know, these guys don't need one. If a Rogue has to Tank, he's not being a Rogue. "Motion Flux" is their combat modus operandi. If they run into Constructs, Plants, Undead, etc. ... the Magi deal with them via spells, while the Tracking Cleric and Rogue go Archery. And withdraw if they must.

Rogue Tank:
Dwarf Ranger 3 /Rogue 7 /Dwarven Defender 10
Use TWF with Improved Shield Bash. Most sneak attacks come from flanking. If needed, ready an action until an opponent is spring-attacking and then attack the flanked target.

Not very min-maxed, but its a basic tough dwarf.

I think a nice feat for a all rogue party is the dual strike , since as a rogue you loose some BAB, the +4 to hit is really nice for both the rogues to dish those sneak attacks easier .
Since combat reflexes is almost a must , it really costs only one feat and since the party is all rogues you probably will flank a lot.

Well... i just like that feat, so i tought i should mention it

is from Complete Warrior. basically, it gains stonecunning, darkvision, and a death attack.

no offense of course, but i don't really see how this PrC relates to the other two you selected for this build. it seems that a couple levels of ranger or fighter would constitute a much better knife fighter.

also, for the party healer, why not use a bard with a couple cleric levels for an overall more capable healer?

I also played in a rogue only party
mainly cause we had to take at least one level in rogue.
we were playing street thiefs, and all had bad habits, I was a trash talker, and then there was no anger control, and spitting everywhere(lol the player with this habit spit on some electric magic type rails and got electricuted)

there was me
3 rogue/sorcerer6

3 rogue/6ranger was spitter

1 rogue/8druid was no anger control

The game ended after everyone but me failed their will saves vs fear and jumped off a cliff, and then they had a 6% chance of dying and they both got it in the same night.
then I got burned to a crisp after being hit by 2 fireball cannons
-74 hp i was left at after that

Color me a touch confused here. Don't Temple Raider and Soldier of Light have mutually exclusive diety requirements, in intent if not explicitly? And we're mixing the Master of Shrouds in a party with the Soldier of Light? The RP on this group could be...odd.
