I have a character who's a Gray Elf, now Ghost (LA+5). With classes in Archivist 10 and Loremaster 10. ECL=25.

I just need help with feats and weapon/armor/equipment/magic items.

You have 9 feats to choose. 3 have to be metamagic and/or item-creation feats. 1 has to be a Skill focus feat. The rest is up to you.

You also have 1,250,000 gp to spend.

PLEASE HELP? Thanks in advance!

You just need help with basically everything? Thanks. At least put in a little of your own effort, will you?

My apologies, I never knew that was a rule here. But here was my take:

1 - Spellcasting Prodigy
3 - Scribe Scroll
6 - Skill Focus, Knowledge
9 - Reach Spell
9 - Divine Metamagic: Reach Spell
10 - Persistent Spell
12 - Ghostly Grasp
15 - Archivist of Nature
18 - Draconic Archivist

I'm still clueless about weapon/armor/equipment/magic items... But I'll give it a try soon.

Sorry again, but any help would be appreciated!

My apologies, I never knew that was a rule here. Its easy to miss when you don't read the stickied thread titled "Important Threads Index"...

See if your DM will let you adapt Collegiate Wizard (Complete Arcane) into Collegiate Archivist.

Divine Metamagic won't do you much good, as an Archivist/Loremaster doesn't have turn undead. And if you do dip into Sacred Exorcist or something similar to get turn undead, you're better off taking Divine Metamagic: Persistant Spell.

Thanks guys, looks like I need a lot more work on my own before I post something to this board... sounds like you really need to have everything fleshed out first.

In a side note, where can I find resources on optimization that will help me on my own since this isn't the place for it? Maybe there's something I can study for this?

Much appreciated and I'm sorry for not reading the rules.

Optimizing Aegnor, eh, mcwo? :) Just a few notes on your current feat set-up:

The updated version of Spellcasting Prodegy now only boosts your primary ability for the purposes of bonus spells, so as Phoenix has already stated you'd be better off with an archivist-oriented variant of Collegiate Wizard. More spells known is better than one or two extra low-level spells.

You actually get Scribe Scroll as a 1st-level bonus feat for being an Archivist, and one of the prerequisites for Persistent Spell is Extend Spell.

For some good optimizing tips and tricks, just browse through this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=482636) thread.

Edit: Oh, and you'd be crazy not to grab EndlessEnnui's custom magic item. It's a steal at 850,000 gp and as an archivist you can really benefit from the +20 to skills like Knowledge.

Thanks guys, looks like I need a lot more work on my own before I post something to this board... sounds like you really need to have everything fleshed out first.Doesn't need to be perfect, but a blank slate means very little to us. As long as you provide something that gives us some direction. Archivist 10/Loremaster 10 doesn't really do much for us.

In a side note, where can I find resources on optimization that will help me on my own since this isn't the place for it? Maybe there's something I can study for this?Browse around, mostly. The Important Threads Index is a good place to start, though.

Much appreciated and I'm sorry for not reading the rules.Well, at least you apologized. Most people go "omfg y u dun give me bu1ld? j00 suxx0rz kthxby"
