Ectoplasmoid 09-13-05, 10:24 PM	So, I'm going to be doing a deathmatch game, where the fights are 1-on-1, and you heal and regenerate your magic after each round. Here are the rules: The rules for this game are simple. 38 point buy, 25th level. 5 million in coin to buy your stuff If your going to be makeing up your own special items, you must PM me first with the idea, I will also need your Cha Mod. Special items are made, not found so you will have to incure the make this for me cost... or if your PC made it him/herself then the cost of materials cost. Either way, I will give you the final price on any special made items. Use whatever books or source material you want. For this build I want you to also somewhere on your sheet to put where you found EVERYTHING. List the books you used at the end of your sheet. Dont make me go hunting for where you got your class, race, weapons, armor, magical fur lined rubber panties, whatever. If I have to look for it on my own, I'll just delete your file and you wont play. I'm pretty much letting you guys do whatever you want, use most whatever you want rules you can find, BUT if your pc has a strenght of 300, or can do 600d6 dmg on one hit, I just wont let you in. Thats just silly and its not much fun watching someone who found the fluffy rule bender that allowed them to distroy worlds, wipe the floor with everyone on one hit. So there goes the Illithid Savant- and the H.I.V.E and the Hulking Hurler and the Ubercharger, but basically most other things are fair game. I'm thinking Twice-Betrayer of shar, but I also have 5 more levels to fill. Any Ideas? or a better build? Go my Min/Maxers! God
Lokiyn 09-13-05, 11:02 PM	16 Wiz/ 5 Runesmith / 4 commoner (for no good reason) Any feats - requirements for prc Stats 23 int (18 start +5 from bonus) Any for other stats. level 21 feat extra spell slot [10th] Permenant rune from runesmith 5 used for ice assasin [Frostburn] 400000 gp sucked up by permenant rune 20gp used for silk clothes and a really nice hat. all the remainder spent on claiming a hair from asmodeous (wishing to 9th circle wishing for hair, etc etc) or a scale of tiamat from her lair stated to be near the 2nd circle of hell i believe. Congratulations you now have spell like ability ice assasin of either asmodeous or tiamat 2x per day. there are many manythings i can do with the ability to spawn a tiamat as a standard action. Add in a contingency to call forth a wall of force whenever you are attacked to blunt a first strike and your gold.
PhaedrusXY 09-13-05, 11:22 PM	Go with a spellcaster with two levels of Chameleon for the floating feat. Use the feat to make all your magic items with (pick whatever Item Creation feat you need at the time with it). Then use whatever your favorite caster build is for the other 23 levels. (Cheater of Mystra, etc).
ksbsnowowl 09-13-05, 11:27 PM	So I suppose my sniper build that does an average of 500 damage at 20th level with a single attack would be a no-no, eh? You could tone it down a bit by not using Bless Weapon, which might not be very effective anyway, given that the other characters won't necessarily have an Evil alignment. Instead just use Craven, and don't pump too much into Power Shot, thus allowing you to confirm the crit with an actual attack roll. Add the Splitting ability (Champions of Ruin) to your bow to make it even nastier.

I kinda doubt the DM for this will allow any variation of the Dweomercheater or TBoS. Play an Artificer 25. Epic Itemcrafting, Spell Trigger Stuff, Constructs, all sorts of fun.
