Alter Fourtune (PHB2, unknown page. its in there somewhere...)
3rd lvl Cleric spell.
Instantanious action; allows any charicter to re-roll a failed save or a bad attack roll, or even have the enemy re-roll a critical hit. 200 XP per cast.

can i make a wand or rod for this spell? if so, would it remove the XP component required to cast the spell, only having to pay XP for the creation of the wand?

if so, it is incredably broken.

If you use the cheater of Mystra build you can get rid of the xp component but making it your mantle spell. check on the optimunize library faqs. Cheater of Mystra (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=248239)

If put into a wand, you have to pay the extra xp cost (times fifty) as part of creation or activation, I can't remember which. Check the online srd (d20srd.org) under wands, it should cover it; I can't get the site to open for some reason or I'd check myself. But no, you can't get past the xp cost by making a magic item of it.

An unlimited use Wonderous Item, however, is viable. You'd have to shell out a sickening heap of coin to pay for it, but it should be worth it if the DM doesn't worry about the abuse (and he should!)

well with the feat in MoE that lets you use a hero point to activate a wand without using a charge and a persistant unfettered heroism spell you could...but that works for everything
