Could I use an Alter Self spell to transform into an Unbodied creature?

According to the SRD an Unbodied creature is a 4 HD monster with a type of Monstrous Humaniod(Incorporeal, Psionic).

I don't have my XPH book to look it up, but this would seem a great option to get the Incorporeal subtype benifits/immunities as well as fly ability.

Any thoughts on this?

You do not gain any supernatural special attacks, special qualities, or spell-like abilities of the new form.
Special Qualities (see above): Assume likeness, incorporeal traits.
You don't get special qualities, incorporeality is a special quality. So, no.
