Ambulitory Blender - Gestalt or no? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-14-06, 05:50 PM I'm trying to d20-ize a character from some of my writing, so far I've built most of his items, and a new type of Graft (Scorpion Parasite - found here: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=621673 ) that works fairly well.

But I'm hung up on class choosing to attain his combat style. He's a hardcore two weapon fighter, thanks to the parasite he wears little armor beyond a smattering of enchanted studded leather that's basically an overworked pair of Bracers of Armor. But his cobmat style is very unorthidox, hes an acrobatic two-weapon figther; using the eviroment to gain ground on multiple oppoents as once by reboundign off walls, pillars and even using oppoents as leverage by running straight up the'r faces.

I'd figured out a way to get his wall-running, mad evasionary moves by workin gin a virtual Wild Talent feat, so he can take psionic feats like Up the Walls. I also got his multi-attack style down by combing Greater Two weapon fighting, a pair of Khopesh, combat reflexes and imrpoved trip. Sidestep Charge also lets him avoid charge attacks and get a trip and summary attack of oppurtinity attempt.

My problem is, it requires ALOT of feats to do this, and I'm not sure of what class and prestige class to take, I'm aiming for a fairly high level (Hopefully an even 20 or 25), but I still can't figure out what classes would work well. it's been ahwile since I've built a unique character like this.

He needs a good Base Attack, and also good will and reflex saves, as well as a ton fo feats - this is where Geshlat comes in.

I was thinking about hybridizing Figther with another class to earn the better saves and possably a few speical abilites, but like I said before, it's been awhile since I've dusted off my dice. So I was hoping someone would help me get him off the concept board and into some stats.

I was planning to use the Point Buy system for his Ability Scores, if that's useful.

Some aid for a rusty gamer?

I'm tempted to suggest Tempest, but it's not quite as useful for this build. Karmic Strike should make them pay if they hit him, and Elusive Target emphasises this odd fighting style of his

Obviously, the best route for the free feats is an even number of Fighter levels (At quick thought anyways, I'm sure there are better ones)

Someone on antoher board suggested I gestalt Fighter and Monk, and use some eberron feat to make the Khopesh specialist monk weapons.

I like this idea best so far, but I'm totally in the dark about any Eberron-related materials.
