I'd like to mention this is a bit cheezy, but this was used as a Trap for a level 26 campaign I was running for my characters. I'll explain the basics before I explain the build.

So, the function of this trap was simple. It was at the end of a hallway, and there were 4 obviously marked Teleportation Circles, in a sort of large square, with 20 feet between them. On the walls above each was a colored door, (painted) to symobolize the portals actually went somewhere.

Now, this place was very similar to two others they had found, in fact, the area they were in was 'black' wing, and they now had a way to get back. Or so they thought.

Each wing had a BBEG, and this BBEG was smart, and in wait. The party moved up to the circles, thinking they were safe, except the rogue and wizard, who were poking items, and the BBEG struck.

He landed in teleport circle 1, went to 2, went to 3, went to 4, and rinse and repeat. So, in laymans terms, infinite attacks? If I figured that wrong let me know.

Now, this isn't really a build, as it can b done with literally ANY shadowlord, but something to note is a powerattacking shadowlord, or a shadowlord focusing more on damage or too hit is a better idea. It doesn't really matter with infinite atacks, but being able to hit your oppenent is a nice thing, although you can just wait for the criticals.

Now, a thing to note, is I dd not intend this to be world shattering. Other than a few incredible specific areas of use, like I did, it simply isn't practical to spend ten minutes casting a spell, than at least another ten, for a shadowlord to do this. Although... even one teleport circle can get the shadowlord up to his movement in attcks a round, or even infinite again, if you target it above itself.

I'm just putting this idea at the mercy of the optimization board. Hopefully somewhere out there, someone knows of a teleport spell similar to teleportation circle that casts less, or a way to reduce the time enough to make it effective.

Cheers

P.S - Oh, and the party did manage to slay him. The three characters in the circle were slain, but afterwards the shdowlord couldn't catch the rogue and wizard the same, and was promptly fingered to death. Subsequently, the party was ressurrected, and threw the rogue into the circles to see what would happen, the fighter caught him, and they continued on their marry way elsewhere.

P.P.S - Also, any comments on whether or not this idea actually works would be nice... I wasn't sure if this abuse of the Shadowlord jump, and teleportation circles even worked.

If you want world shattering you get teleportation circle cast on two "floating marble tiles." The tiles are linked so that when you step on one, you are instantly teleported to the other and vice versa. These titles are floating due to your familiar maining concentration of telekinesis which you cast earlier. You step on tile 1, are teleported to tile 2, rinse and repeat. Will need a spell/item though that will be able to cast a teleportation spell as an immediate action, else you will be stuck repeating this cycle forever.

This is exactly what I wanted to have suggested! And an assassin I believe gets dimension door as a spell, which can be quickened. Thats how my shadowlord got out of the circles when there was no one left to hit.
