| Perfecto06-22-05, 01:38 PM | I've been thinking again about Vecna's Daylong Eberron UnfetteredHeroism Spontaneity trick, which you can find here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=447802). Most of the builds that came up couldn't pull off the trick until very high levels. I decided that I want to make a build that can take advantage of this as early as possible, and I've come up with the following: Clr = Cleric Wiz = Wizard Geo = Geometer FSp = Fatespinner 1. Clr1 Persistent Spell 2. Wiz1 Scribe Scroll 3. Wiz2 Divine Persistent Spell 4. Wiz3 5. Wiz4 6. Wiz5 Twin Spell, Divine Twin Spell 7. Geo1 8. Geo2 9. FSp1 Spontaneous Casting 10. FSp2 By this point you count as a 9th level Wizard for casting (giving you access to the 5th-level Unfettered Heroism). This character loses 1 arcane caster level in exchange for some minor Cleric tricks and Turn Undead to power the Persistent engine. With decent Charisma and a Nightstick (Libris Mortis) or two, you should be able to pull off the 12 Turn attempts it will cost you to both Persist and Twin the spell. I suppose the next thing to do with the character is take Fatespinner to level 4, and finish Geometer. That will take us to level 15. Don't know which class to finish off with. Make sure to get Quicken Spell at level 12, which will make you unable to sacrifice some of your spell slots (only 2 AP a round afterall), but you can cast 2 spells a round. What do you guys think?? |

| Perfecto06-22-05, 01:45 PM | Sorry, forgot to mention you need to take the Planning Domain (from CW) as one of your Cleric Domains, which grants Extend Spell... Knew I forgot something... I would also like to point out that Geo2 grants you Book of Geometry, meaning that using a normal Spellbook, this wizard can pack around his 100 best spells, spontaneously cast any of them, take that Sorceror! |

| SigmaJargon06-22-05, 02:54 PM | Sadly, you can't apply Divine Metamagic to arcane spells. The Complete Divine errata modified the feat to read:As a free action, you can take the energy from turning or rebuking undead and use it to apply a metamagic feat to divine spells that you know...Of course, if you use the Extra Spell feat from CA to learn Unfettered Heroism as a cleric spell, this could still work quite nicely. |
