an evil caster build. [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-05-05, 09:54 AM Can anyone gather all information about evil caster PRCs, which is based on arcane.
full caster level required.
a funny build maybe.

Starting off with the:
Red wizard.
this is a great class for someone who wants too kill or save or anything, at a crazy level.
i like this class, i just don't know what to focus in.
we have a warlock, and a hobgobling fighter 1/shugenja 5(fire)/elemental savant(fire) 10.
so we have alot of evocating spells.
The shugenja can break through immunity and resistance to fire, with the metamagic feat from Sandstorm(can't remember the name right now).
maybe abjuration or conjuration or illusion.
Gnome and their racial PRC from races of stone, which is based on illusion(but if it is a only good-aligned PrC, it sucks for me).
Geometer?

12-05-05, 11:58 AM a wizard 5/ mindbender1 /Redwizard 10/ geometer 4 is great "brainy evil guy"

at level 6 you get telepathy, great for communicating with flunkies, and it allows you to gain access to a great feat from LoM(forgot name of feat) that lets you notice all living minds in a 100ft radius.

now, as for your specializing, this can vary. if you have access to Complete Arcane (sounds like it, since you can use geometer) go for conjuring, the orb of "element" spells are very nice and conjuring has many spells that can cover various problems, as well as summoning, gate, teleportation, ect... your second choice could be necromancy, but only if you have access to Libris Mortis, sandstorm or frostburne (LM has the necrotic cyst-related spells, and the other 2 books have very nice save or dies if memory serves). an enchanter can always be nice when properly made (who needs minions when you have "willing slaves"), though you will lose some firepower. Collegiate wizard (a feat from CA) can let you gain much more spells each level (6+int at creation and 4 new/level), great if you decide to travel a lot and not have much recherche time, though this must be taken at creation. again, this depends on your focus.

once you have your focus we can really start cooking with a nuclear reactor instead of that silly propane.
