An Evil Optimized Build? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Well... My first question would be: Is it possibly to optimize a (preferably) warlock / acolyte of the skin?

What would you guys suggest for a fallen demon?
It's a demon who fell prey to his comrades treacherous mindsets. He was a feared demon prince, who was slaughtered and cast into the Void. A decade later, he finds himself strangely reincarnated on the Prime Material.

Race: Counts as a tiefling. Due to his weakened state.
Which class would he have? I was thinking a sorcerer or a warlock. And a PrC to help him attain his former glory, or should I say, depravity?

(I'll look further into it by myself as well, I'm no lazy slob. I just figured the CO boards would be THE place to go.)

Any comments?

06-15-06, 08:58 AM You lose serious offensive ability if you go that route... IIRC, Acolyte of the Skin is half progression class... not to mention you're a level behind because of Tiefling. Besides, he's already a demon in the first place, why would he get a second one?

Aaah yes. That didn't occur to me.

Tiefling. Perhaps a soulstealer, or at least a class/PrC capable of holding his own. If you've ever seen Star Wars, Palpatine. That was sort of the path I had in mind. With a stroke of demon of course.

06-15-06, 07:32 PM Have you checked the Fiend Blooded from Heroes of Herror?It's a pretty cool and solid class that lets a sorcerer slowly gain the half fiend template with some extra goodies and minimum caster level loss.
