| Amphetryon11-02-05, 04:04 PM | As I look at possibilities for a Scout/Druid/Daggerspell Shaper build, it occurs to me that this set-up would work most efficiently, most optimally, with the ability to use 10' of movement for the price of a 5' step. However, the only method I can think of for this currently is Elocator 7's Capricious Step, and Scout 3/Druid 5/Daggerspell Shaper 5/Elocator 7 is extraordinarily clunky, IMO. What other PrC's (or spells, or Feats) give a boost to the 5' step, if any? |

| Amphetryon11-02-05, 05:12 PM | Oriental Adventures, DC40 tumble check An interesting option, though with the Classes I've chosen, it could be a very daunting task to make DC 40 Tumble checks with any regularity. Side-Step feat, assuming you give an AoO lets you move a free 5' Not sure how keen I am on allowing AoO's against me (light armor, etc) as a means to this end. It also seems like I'd be hard-pressed to use that 5' step to the advantage of a Skirmish. Thanks, though. Sparring Dummy of the Master(A&EG) gives monks the ability to take a 10' instead of 5' Ouch, 30k for 5'! Still, this is the most intriguing option to me. I wonder, is Scout 3/Druid 5/Monk 2/Daggerspell Shaper 10 worthwhile? If I can use Daggers to Flurry, I think it probably is.... |
| MeleeMonster11-02-05, 05:55 PM | You can't use daggers to flurry unless you homebrew a feat to do so. Daggers are not monk weapons. Sorry man! |

A Scout-Elocator would be a very interesting build, though not as good as Scout-Dervish. Best bet is that Sparring Dummy. |
| Amphetryon11-02-05, 07:25 PM | Scout 3/Druid 5/Monk 2/Shou Disciple 3/Daggerspell Shaper 7 looks doable. :D |
| Aramas11-02-05, 09:21 PM | Yep, your best bet is a Sparring Dummy of the Master as a monk, or a custom magic item that grants a bonus to tumble checks. |
