Hi all....

Any suggestions for feats and/or other general abilities, techniqus, skills, etc. that would help me out? I have a "do-all" rogue (elf) just reaching 10th level. High skill levels across the board, I use UMD often to buff etc, and am in combat very often. S-12, I-18, D-17, W-12, Co-12, Ch-10. Our party is very light on melee power (no fighter classes), but we have a cleric and an Eldrich knight that both chip in during combat, as well as myself. The other party member is a wizard.

Anyways...I have the dodge, mobility, spring attack feats now, and when we hit 10th level in our game we get a "special" bonus feat (plus my rogue special one at 10th), so I am considering taking Weapon Finess (to improve my "to hit" #'s), and also Staggering Blow from complete adventurer, to complement my spring attack and "stagger" the opponent whenever I sneak attack (which is often as I am usually greater invis, blinking, flanking etc.) Feats that benefit from spells are no problem, as I UMD scrolls/wands easily.

So, if you had a rogue with spring attack going on 10th level, and could take 2 feats, which would they be? Even if they were heading in a new feat chain I am interested in your concept.

Weapon Finesse is a must. Get it, love it.

I like Arterial Strike, it would st you up with a great gueilla style.

Also, think about taking the prestige class Invisible Blade, for this you need Weapon Focus if i remember corectly.

Cheers. Xeraph.

Not sure what books you have available, but might look at Craven. It's in Heroes of Ruin. +character level to your Sneak Attack damage with the only set back of -2 VS fear.

Just noticed your great int score. You should really consider 3 levels of Swashbuckler.

Also, Initiate of Faery Mysteries would be awsome for you... Switch Int with Con for bonus HP!!1!!11!!!eleven!!!1!! (cant remember which dragon mag that beast of feat is found, but damn, you could tank long side your Eldritch Knight and Cleric if you took it)

Not mentioned already is the Elusive target tactical feat from CW ... It's a very strong feat and you meat the pre-reqs.

Arterial Strike is great for rogues: sacrifice 1d6 of your sneak attack damage and inflict a bleeding wound (a la the pre-3.5E wounding quality) that cause 1 hit point of damage per round until magically healed or a successful Heal skill check.

I also like Flick of the Wrist (this requires Quick Draw as a prerequisite) which allows you to draw a light weapon and then treat your opponent as flat-footed. It combines really well with Arterial Strike.

You may need to consider a level or two of Fighter to get a couple of bonus feats if you want to explore this chain.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have decided to go with Staggering Blow and Weapon Finesse as my next two feats.....unless the Dragon Magazine article feats work out....something about adding my INT bonus for hit points seems quite appealing for some strange reason :) I have to wait to get hold of a Dragon though....the DM has them all at his place.

This prc is really cool in concept... but nothing a Ring of Blinking cant do and you don't need to take Far shot and point blank shot to get it.
