Ok, here's the deal.
In this campaign I'm playing in I'm a 5 level ranger 1 level weretouched master, shifter.
well, the thing I wanted is your advice to what I should do with my sword. yes, Sword.

at the moment it's a +1 flaming greatsword, but I was thinking about making it into a large weapon, first of, is this possible? and secondly, i got 10000gp to use on upgrades to the weapons, so i was wondering, what should I do, make it a "large +2 flaming greatsword" or should I take something else? what is your advice? the point is to make the sword as powerfull as possible so that I could use it to kick ass.

Dear god, not another giant sword thread. Good god we're sick of them. Okay in short, no there is no way beyond enlarging yourself to make your sword bigger.

This thread has a list of all weapon enhancements, what book they are in, their page number and their effects and costs.

Ten thousand, huh?

My advice would be to either make it Keen, which will cost exactly 10,000 gp, or stash the money and save it for something really good.

As for making it bigger, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not the damage dice of the weapon that really matters, it's the modifiers. Swinging around the bumper from a '58 Chevy and calling it a sword because it's got an edge on it doesn't make you more impressive except to the people that don't matter. Smart enemies will just fight you in tight spaces.

If your DM doesn't have a problem with psionics, and you can get something from the XPH, save up 42,000 gp, and get Keen and Collision put on your weapon. Then it's 2d6 + 1d6 fire + 6 for base weapon damage, with a 17-20 critical.

There is a sizing weapon enhancement in Complete Adventurer and Underdark. But increasing the size of a weapon generally only improves its damage by a couple points of damage at most so there are better things to spend your money on. Also wielding a weapon that is larger than normally usable for you gives you a penalty to attack (-2 per size category difference). You can power attack for more damage then you will get by taking the weapon size penalty using that -2 penalty to power attack.

Only if you also make the weapon heavy in addition to larger do you start to see a benefit, but that requires an exotic weapon feat or you're taking another -4 penalty for nonproficiency. Also I can't remember if that is in any 3.5 books, I remember it being in a 3.0 FR book.

Generally you're just better off increasing the weapon damage through extra things like skirmish or sneak attack, power attack, weapon enhancements like flaming, acidic, and just plain magical weapon enhancements (+5 dagger).
