15str, 13 dex, 8 con, 14 int, 10 wis, 12 cha

Get a weapon, preferably a Butter Knife and smash those level 1 Commoners to infinity!! ;)

Or you could use a couple of Prestige Classes like Eldricht Knight (DMG), Rage Mage (CW), Spellsword (CW) and more ;)

Your DM doesn't like you, eh? You'll never be able to cast over 5th level spells unless (s)he'll be handing out some int bonuses later ...

Use a feat to learn Divine Power, learn Polymorph, and get the extend and persistant spell feats. Every battle, turn into a giant and hit stuff :-)

Cheers,

Feats:
Otherworldy (for outsider)
Power Attack
Power Lunge
Arcane Strike
and any other feats you'd like, Quicken or whatever :)

Items: +6 int item, a slotless Strength item (Ioun stone or something else)

Combat: Polymorph into a Jarilith and charge, using Arcane Strike to channel a spell in for extra damage on all of your 5 attacks! Due to Power Lunge you deal double Strength damage, and the Jarilith also has a decent AC. This makes the fighter cry.
Use Polymorph either Quickened or with contingencies so you don't have to waste a round for it. This works at relatively low levels, a Jarilith has 10 or 12hd if I remember correctly.

At higher levels, just abuse Shapechange completely for a volley of Beholder Eye Rays and a Pit Fiend full attack in the same round, every round.

Ugh, if you're going straight wizard and you want us to optimize a 20th level character for you, then you'll never be able to get 9th lvl spells unless you put your level bonus points into int or buy a headband of intellect +6, even then your DC will still suck (15 + Spell Level), a wizard should ALWAYS put his level bonuses and highest score into intellegence, no matter what you do....

Anyway..go slap your dm...and good luck with this character..you'll need it :D

edit: Blade he said straight wizard..no multi-classing

What is the point of this challenge? Do you intend to play this character and the constraints have been posed by your DM?

STR 12
DEX 13
CON 15+1+1+1+1=19
INT 14
WIS 10
CHA 8

When you can afford it, buy a tome of intelligence +5 for 150.000 gp or so and you'll be fine.

Otherwise just check Yekoj's Wizard's handbook. Link is in my signature.

Sisyfos...he said he couldn't add his level bonuses (if that's what you were showing with the +1's to int) to intellegence :(

meh, 14 int with a +6 headband will let you cast 9th level spells.
