I'm playing this character in a fresh-started campaign:

Wizard 1/Binder 1/Wizard 2/Sorcerer 1/Ultimate Magus 1/Anima Mage 1/Ultimate Magus 3/Anima Mage 1/Ultimate Magus 2/Anima Mage 7

The only feats that matter specifically are Improved Binding at level 3 and Practised Spellcaster at level 6 - the overall combination allows me to dump all of UM's CL increases into Wizard, yielding me lvl 9 Wizard spells, level 3 Sorcerer spells and level 6-ish vestiges.

The Extend Spell + Persistent Spell combo I've seen used here allows one to Persist a spell for 2 days, and, using UM's Augmented Casting ability along with Anima Mage's Vestige Metamagic it's possible to Persist 12 level 2 spells and 6 level 8spells over two days. The question is - although absolutely unreasonable, is this combo actually viable? I believe it depends on metamagic stacking interpretation, but I don't know of the particulars in this case.

Furthermore, has there been errata on the Anima Mage's Vestige Metamagic to prevent the Persistification of high-level spells?

It's perfectly fine ;) Although I personally would replace Sorceror with Bard, add Versatile Spellcaster, and add Sublime Chord to the mix

Wow. That's actually disgusting. In all the best ways possible. Versatile Spellcaster I'm already grabbing, but Sublime Chord? One wonders if my friends aren't going to beat me for this...Does being able to cast lvl 3 arcane spells non-prepped actually qualify me for the Chord? I'm AFB at the mo, but I'm pretty confident that I'll need to be casting lvl 3 spells spontaneously.

Sublime Chord's caster level assignment is really wonky RAW, so be careful. As far as I can tell, you may also need Practiced Spellcaster to compensate (seriously, SC's caster level assignment is global for the character, and it's not very nice, either; it assumes an entry of Bard 10 and that you're going to stick with it, which isn't a very good assumption).
