NatchFeral posted a build in the Warlock Handbook thread, and it gave me an idea for a character I'd like to play. However, Natch's build relied on the DM allowing Invocations to count as spellcasting for PrC requirements, while this one doesn't.

Note: I don't yet have Complete Mage, so there may be a better PrC to use in place of Mystic Thurge.

Human Beguiler 1/Binder 2/Warlock 1/Anima Mage 6/Ur-Priest 2/Mystic Thurge 8.

Level progression is pretty much how it's listed above...

Charisma is obviously the most important attribute, followed by Wisdom and Dexterity. Decent Con and Int would be nice, but aren't really required.

Required Feats: Iron Will, Spell Focus (Evil), Precocious Apprentice, 1 metamagic feat (Extend Spell).

4 more feats to spend as desired. Divine Metamagic and Persistent Spell are highly recommended, and maybe Maximize/Quicken Spell-Like Ability.

Good things:
- 9th level Ur-Priest spells.
- Rebuke Undead (allows Divine Metamagic).
- 7d6 Eldritch Blast.
- 3 Greater Warlock Invocations.
- Ability to bind 2 4th level Vestiges (5th level w/ Improved Binding).
- Vestige Metamagic 1/day (note: this ability does not say that it must be a arcane spell, so this allows an extra Persistent spell at no cost).
- Obscenely high Will save.
- Minor arcane spellcasting ability.

Bad Things:
- +9 BAB (though you'll be using a ranged touch attack, with divine buffs, so it should be OK).
- Low HP.
- No Dark Invocations.
- Very poor Fortitude and Reflex saves.

Possible Variations:
- Reduce Binder to 1 level and take the Improved Binding feat, then increase the Warlock level by 1. This gives you 1 Dark Invocation at 20th level. You won't be able to hide your Vestiges, and it'll be impossible for you to get 5th level Vestiges (which you would normally get with Improved Binding).
- Reduce Ur-Priest to 1 level and increase Mystic Thurge by 1. You don't get Rebuke Undead, but you get 1 Dark Invocation at 20th level. Only recommended if you don't want to use Divine Metamagic.

Well, that's all I have. It probobly isn't extremely well optimized, as I'm new at this, but it seems like a pretty good build all the way from 1 to 20.

Thoughts, opinions, advice?

If you change your race to Illumian, you could bump your caster level by 2. You would lose your feat, but since you have such a high will save, take the Weak Will flaw to get it back.

There is a Divine/Warlock theurgic PrC in Complete Mage. Forgot what its called. It probably gives class features making it automatically better than Mystic Theurge.

Eldritch Disciple. 9/10 casting for Divine/Warlock, medium BAB, good Fort and Will saves, other bennies. Certainly better than MT. See my sig.
