pyro_cat 09-27-05, 07:37 PM	I'm trying to throw together a build based around a mounted Ranger, using his animal companion as his mount. I WILL NOT be using Paladin levels, nor will I be playing a halfling, so Cavalier and Halfling Outrider are out. So far, I have found Wild Plains Outrider, and Beastmaster (not mount related, but the one level investment is worth it). Are there any other classes and feats that synergise with Ranger and power up animal companions? Thanks
X-Codes 09-27-05, 09:15 PM	It wouldn't be a stretch to apply cavalier levels to Animal Companion levels if said companion is also a legal paladin mount. Of course, if your character isn't lawful then it's a moot point anyway. =P Another class is Horselord. It's actually quite useful as you can boost the speed of your horse and do nice mounted archery.
