What are some good ways to gain immunity to anti magic zones/anti magic rays? Thanks

Errr.... Be a Cleric of Mystra and take the feat Initiate of Mystra

Else, Errmm... be a Chosen of mytra and select the spells as spells that you are immune to.

Or... Errr... Be a golem?

Not much you can do about it. Considering that it's one of the very very very few weaknesses of casters, I'd say that you should let your non-caster friends shine in those moments. Your DM shouldn't be putting you in AM fields all the time, so, just chill and shoot those crossbow bolts and understand what it feels like for your melee friends when they're near you casters ;)

wall of force, forcecage, prismatic wall, and prismatic sphere all trump the effect of a antimagic field, though you must be outside the field's area when you cast them.

mordenkainen's disjunction has a 1% chance per caster level to disjoin a antimagic field

artifacts and most epic spells are unaffected by an antimagic field

the soulknife and soulbow have the ability to use their mindblade/arrow inside a AMF with a will save

antimagic field states in it's description that it has no effect on the result of a instantaneous conjuration, so you can push over a wall of iron onto them np. Other creative solutions include using Telekinesis or telekinetic sphere to drop a 20,000lb anvil on their heads or disintegrate the supports of the bridge they are walking on.

Also the various Planar Ally/binding spells as well as Gate are calling spells, which means that any allies summoned with them are not treated as summoned creatures and can enter the AMF's area without restriction.

To beat an AM, take the Initiate of Mystra feat.
To beat a Deadzone, you can either take Shadow Weave, or Initiate of Mystra

Invoke Magic a 9th level spell in Lords of Madness will allow you to cast any 4th or lower spell. It's a swift action so you can cast the 4th level spell in the same turn.
